Heyyy guys! I’m back. I had a rather long break from my blog to concentrate on work and family stuff. I didn’t think I’d miss my little blog as much as I did, so I’m really happy to be back.
In addition to that, I’m SUPER excited to be taking part in Shanah’s Top 5 Tuesday again! If you want to take part, head over to her blog to find out how!
This week the topic is ‘Top 5 Books I NEED to read in 2019’. There are so so SO many books I want to read this year, but I managed to narrow it down to 5, thankfully!
Another Day In The Death Of America: A Chronicle of 10 Short Lives – Gary Younge
I FINALLY received this book for Christmas! It’s a non-fiction book set within a 24 hour time frame and it focuses on 10 different children/teenagers who were killed by guns on that one day. I’m so excited to finally read this book because it’s been on my TBR list for ages!
The Tattooist of Auschwitz – Heather Morris
This book is sat on my book shelf just waiting for me to pick it up. I’ve heard so many good things about this book so I’m looking forward to getting stuck into it.
MurderTrending – Gretchen McNeil
I received MurderTrending for Christmas after having it on my TBR since it was first announced on Goodreads. It’s set in the future and model citizens can watch the executions of infamous criminals on an App. It sounds pretty messed up so I’m sure I’ll love it haha.
Armada – Ernest Cline
This is another book that has been sat on my book shelf for ages. I absolutely loved Ready Player One so I’m hoping that this book is equally as good. I’m also hoping that it doesn’t take me as long to read as Ready Player One did…
A Darker Shade of Magic – V.E Schwab
It feels like I’m one of the only people who hasn’t read this. I’ve heard so many good things about it, so hopefully 2019 will be the year I manage to read it!
