First Impression Friday: Copy Cat – Alex Lake

First Impression Friday is hosted by Joe – Storeys of Stories! The aim of the meme is to talk about a book that you’ve just started. Based on what you have read so far, discuss your first impressions. Then, when you have finished the book, look back at your First Impressions post and see if your predictions were correct!

It’s Friday. And normally I’d be really excited about that. But I’m cycling 100km tomorrow night to raise money for Cancer and I am DREADING it.

Anyway, let’s get back to First Impression Friday before I start sobbing.

This week, I’ve started reading Copycat.
This has been sat on my book shelf since October and I’ve been itching to read it but I’ve just had so many ARCs to get through.

I’m only about 50 pages into this book and it’s already making me feel really uncomfortable. I was home alone last night and I was sat on the sofa reading it and I heard some weird noises and I was convinced that there was a stranger in my house. There wasn’t…. it was just my dog playing with his toy upstairs. But yeah, this book is definitely making me paranoid and jumpy.

It’s early days and I’ve never read anything by Alex Lake before so I’m not really sure what to expect, but based on what I’ve read so far, I’m expecting a high rating!

Rating Prediction: At least 4/5!!
